In November 2010, SFU Student Entrepreneur of Year was a platform for 8 finalist and had over 80 attendees attend the final competition. Last year, we discovered Jordon Gutierrez, founder of Libreria LEO, an online medical textbook store similar to Amazon that sells books to doctors across Latin America. As the winner of the competition in 2010, he went on to win the BC Student Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2011. Recently, he won the ACE Regionals Student Entrepreneur Champion in 2011, as well as placing 2nd in the ACE Nationals Student Entrepreneur Champions in 2011. Jordon will be going on to compete at the Global Student Entrepreneur Competition on November 18th, 2011.
