2011 Preliminary Judges

Anoop is a former president of SIFE Simon Fraser and has been a driving force behind the growth of the team in recent years. He is an active member of the Vancouver startup community and was previously a co-founder of QuikPiq Media. Anoop is a supporter of youth leadership programs and is remains involved at SFU as a member of the TEDxSFU team and as Chair of the Business Advisory Board at SIFE Simon Fraser. Ashish is a Social Media instructor at SFU’s Beedie School of Business. He has been involved in a number of ventures from mobile startups to social projects. He was recently recognized as Surrey’s Top 25 under 25 (2011) for his leadership in the community. He serves on the Board of Directors of Kina Social Ventures and has recently co-founded Quikpiq, a web & mobile startup.

Although she spends her 9 to 5 sitting at a desk crunching numbers for the finance industry, her true romantic relationship is in technology. Taking the lessons she learned during her term as the Director of Entrepreneurship, Katherine fulfills her entrepreneurial dreams by cofounding two Vancouver based start-ups.
