Competition Schedule: 1:00PM SEY Welcome Speech 1:30PM Final round begins 3:30PM Floor open to public for questions 3:45PM Voting opens for People’s Choice Award 4:00PM Closing remarks & floor open for networking

There will be four finalists pitching their business plans in front of a panel of industry professionals.They will be judged on their innovation, business models, financials, market analysis, future outlook, leadership and management skills and their presentation as well. This year you can vote for your favourite student entrepreneur! You will also be given the opportunity to ask your own questions as well.The student entrepreneur that is awarded the people’s Choice Award will be presented with $500 in cash.

Who will be the next SFU Student Entrepreneur of the Year?

Past winners have gone on to capture Regional, National and even Global Student Entrepreneur of the Year titles (see History). You could witness the next entrepreneur superstar at Simon Fraser University! 4 of the semi-finalists will compete among other young aspiring student entrepreneurs  upon the grand stage and present your aspiring business in front of a panel of industry professionals. Over $5,000 in cash and prizes available!
